RTM devices monitor an ambulatory patient’s health status in real-time and record vital sign data for easy download by a patient, paramedic or clinician to a smart device or central monitoring station for timely diagnosis or treatment. RTM device data can readily be transferred to any smartphone, iPad, Fitbit, Google Wear, Apple Watch or other wearable devices. Timely, accurate data can improve medical care, reduce costs and save lives as telemedicine has already proved. The RTM devices add heretofore unavailable and accurate information in a continuous manner without patient intervention and enable predictive capabilities that can avert adverse health events and add big-data knowledge.
